Bambi

This was my first Disney movie as a child growing in Dorchester Massachusetts. I look upon Bambi as a brother to me, since he was the first character I stumbled upon. It was beautifully told story, the whole approach of it. Bambi is the best picture Walt ever thought of bringing to the screen, it will entertain audiences for ever. The thing that was most powerful about it was the death of the mother, there has never been a death in a Disney movie at that time, but Walt was making the story powerful as if we had an experience of what is was like to live in the forest.
